I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.

I will, but I can't yet as my internet bandwidth has expired (I live in Aus) so you will just have to make do with the current download which is fixed except for the two files which are included you just gotta move.
Final Fantasy 13 Delayed
I don't particularly like Dragon Quest that much...
But FFXIII... Delayed until 2010... I may HAVE to play DQ9 just to get my RPG fix.
I hope after they've delayed it so long FFXIII will be all they made it out to be, rather than another FFXII, which wasn't as good as everyone expected.
I'm more excited about Versus XIII though, but if they delayed XIII, I assume they delayed that too.

Ah. I remember this topic from RRR. Yes, I quite like the sound of this software. While I wouldn't use it alone, I would get purely for the purpose of converting between RPG Makers, which is a feature many RMers have always wanted.

FFTA2
I had heard that TA2 wasn't very good at all... I'm not the greatest fan of the Tactics games so I didn't get it, but then I heard on several websites and saw several reviews in which it was said that it is worse than TA1, and not a great game at all.
But, I haven't played it so who am I to judge. Good on you for enjoying a game you like.

Can Fangames Be Good?
Can a fangame be good? Depends. Depends on various things. Is it an excited 12 year old's Final Fantasy VII sequel, or is it an experienced RMer's remake of a classic title or a mainly original title LOOSELY based on the real series?
Like all games, it comes down to one thing: If the game is well made and is fun to play, then you will enjoy playing it. For fangames, this is quite hard to grasp as because you are sitting down to play a game labelled Final Fantasy with the expectations of what an FF game would present, and not the expectations of an independant fangame someone has made using FF as a basis.
Although the game may be perfectly fine RM wise, it is a bad FF game, thus you consider it bad.
